It’s Time to Share Some Public Spirit

When starting The Public Spirit, it was all about bringing people together - to celebrate and enjoy good times and, of course, to help others too.
So we’re incredibly excited for places to start reopening this week and for our towns and cities to be full of life once again - so we can do just that.

If it’s catching up with friends at the pub, going for a quiet meal for two, having family over for a BBQ, or simply exploring the local shops - remember to enjoy it and do things at your pace.
You may not feel ready to go out and would rather stay home or to enjoy a drink in the garden - and that’s fine.

But whatever we’re doing let’s also do our bit to support those who need it - that’s the beauty of The Public Spirit - drinking literally has never been so good. Knowing you’re enjoying yourselves while helping others at the same time will make those first sips taste even better.

So you can be sure you’re doing so, we’ve put together just a few places where you can enjoy some Public Spirit either when you’re out and about or at home.

The Jane Eyre , Ancoats
First up is The Jane Eyre in Ancoats and if you've been following our journey - it's inclusion should come as no surprise. Winner of Manchester's best bar, The Jane Eyre truly is one of the best the city has to offer. And from Monday, you'll be able to enjoy some of their incredible drinks in cutting room square in Ancoats and we are very excited about it. You'll also be able to find one of our serves on their menu...

Hatch, Manchester
Located under the Mancunian way on Oxford Road, Hatch will be the ideal place to enjoy some long-overdue catch ups with friends over the next few months. With an array of fantastic independent food joints - there is something for everyone - and you can wile away the hours sipping on some Public Spirit. We'll say no more.

Ancoats General Store, Stretford Foodhall, Sale Groceries & Beer
If you’re looking to stay in or maybe have some drinks before heading out, then these have you covered. Pick up the weekly shop and grab a coffee or a beer while you’re at it too.

Corks Out, Stockton Heath & Alderley Edge
Hugely popular wine bar Corks Out will have you covered for both drinking in and taking out whether you fancy stopping in for a few on the terrace or to enjoying back home in the garden. The best of both.
We’ll be sharing info of lots more places you can drink the good stuff over the next few weeks.
